Annual Benefit Gala 2024

McCook, Illinois: DVO celebrated its 9th Annual Benefit Gala with a brunch at Crystal Sky Banquets on Sunday, March 3, 2024.
​A crowd of 210 people came to celebrate the progress of the ministry while also celebrating in Father Chuck Dahm's, Director of DVO, 87th birthday! 

Domestic Violence Survivors' Mass 2023

Chicago, Illinois: The 8th Annual Domestic Violence Survivors' Mass was held at Holy Name Cathedral (735 N. State Street) in beautiful downtown Chicago on September 30, 2023, to kick off Domestic Violence Awareness Month. DVO Director, Father Charles Dahm, O.P. was the presider among a robust crowd of parish ministry members, friends, and even tourists. Domestic violence survivor, Flor, shared her testimony on breaking her silence and freeing herself from her abusive relationship.
